I hold a PhD in Chemistry from the University of La Rioja, where I was also an MSCA-ITN Fellow within the DIRNANO consortium - a European research network of 15 academic and industrial partners focused on directing immune responses through nanomaterials. Through this collaboration, I had the opportunity to visit and work with leading researchers and institutions in Europe, such as LipoCoat BV and the University of Verona. My doctoral research centered on the synthesis and bio-orthogonal protection of organic compounds and non-natural amino acids, with applications in cancer immunotherapy and diagnosis through the design of unnatural antigens based on Mucin-1. I have a strong background in nanomedicine and biology, with an MSc degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and several publications and presentations in this field. Through my involvement in various research projects, I have also gained valuable skills and experience in pharmacogenomics, hyperthermia, texture analysis of medical images, preclinical PET/CT imaging, and translational research.
