Zusammenfassung

This doctoral thesis has been prepared in the form of thesis by compendium of publications. Within the Observational Methodology, the aim is to delimit the technicaltactical performance in combats in initiation to Karate (children of 8 and 9 years - specifically at the earliest age in which national competitions are held-). Three specific objectives unfold from the general objective. The first objective is to carry out a general characterization of the technical-tactical performance in combats in the initiation to Karate, through a hierarchical segmentation analysis based on the decision tree technique. The second objective is to deepen in the technical-tactical performance in combats in the initiation to Karate Kumite, integrating the information related to the executed offensive technical action -whether it is with the fist or the leg-, the laterality that it implies -in what relative to the guard that supports the action and the segment with which it is performed-, the area of the body to which the technique is directed and the effectiveness obtained. The third objective is to analyze the lateral preference in the technical-tactical performance of the 8-9 year old child. The observational demonstration is armed by combats developed in the National Karate Tournament (LNK J-1) held on February 22, 2020 in the city of Pamplona (Navarra). The participants are 8 and 9 years old (Mean= 8.49; SD= 0.51), which guarantees a sufficient level to be fit for combat. The results obtained mark a relevant starting point in the longitudinal programming of contents in training Karate.
