Résumé
This paper is an ethnographic study carried out for nine months, from October 2012 to July 2013, in a centre of programmers and Web designers located in Zaragoza. The main objective is to know the mechanisms and situations generated in a creative process in a centre considered as creative. The main hypothesis is that creativity consists of a series of interconnected elements that enhance the performance of certain professional functions. Therefore, a second hypothesis is that certain workplaces encourage connections and creative ways of working. The research provides a number of characteristic elements of creativity and concludes that there is a hybrid work-life balance in a workplace, which is significant to the location choices of creative workers.
