Doctor by the Universidad de La Rioja with the thesis Some aspects of the paradigmatic analysis of old English word-formation 2016. Supervised by Dr. Francisco Javier Martín Arista.
She is a Tenured Faculty Member in the area of Modern Philologies at the University of La Rioja. She holds a Bachelor's and a Doctorate in English Philology, having earned her PhD with honors (cum laude) from this university. In the 2016-17 academic year, she joined the Department of Modern Philologies as a Teaching and Research Staff (PDI). Since then, she has taught in various undergraduate programs (English Studies, Primary Education, Early Childhood Education, and Tourism), as well as in the Master's in Teacher Training for Secondary Education, Vocational Training, and Language Teaching. She has supervised final academic projects across all these programs and has been a member of the evaluation committees for such projects. Additionally, over the years, she has been responsible for several courses at both undergraduate and master's levels. As a researcher, she is a member of the Functional Grammars Research Group and has participated in five national research projects and six teaching innovation projects, coordinating one of them. She has several publications and has presented at various national and international conferences, both as a speaker and as a member of the organizing committee for some of them. She has served as editor of the Journal of English Studies and currently works as an editorial assistant for the journal Cuadernos de Investigación Filológica. Furthermore, she has collaborated in the editorial process and article review for other journals. Since 2021, she has managed international mobility for the Faculty of Letters and Education as the academic coordinator and has served as the coordinator for the English subject in the EBAU/PAU university entrance exams.
