PhD in Educational Sciences (University of La Rioja). Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Sciences, specializing in Theory and History of Education (University of La Rioja). Coordinator of the DESAFÍO Research Group (Development, Social Education, Physical Activity, and Leisure). Founding member and Vice-President of the Interuniversity Network OcioGune. Member of the Research Network on Service-Learning in Physical Activity and Sport for Social Inclusion (RIADIS) and of the University Service-Learning Association ApS(U). Has supervised seven doctoral dissertations. Coordinator of several Teaching Innovation Projects focused on Service-Learning. Author of more than ninety books and book chapters, and seventy high-impact scientific articles published in internationally indexed systems such as Social Science Citation Index, JCR, SJR, Scopus, ERIH, In-Recs, and ISOC. Full-time researcher in fifteen funded projects, three of them at the national level, serving as Principal Investigator in one. Holds two six-year research evaluation periods and one six-year knowledge transfer evaluation period.
