Jorge Velilla has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the Faculty of Science, and a Master’s Degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zaragoza. Jorge Velilla is a PhD from the University of Zaragoza. He currently works as an Associate Professor at the University of La Rioja. He has completed his formal education with specialization courses in different institutions, as Columbia University, Georgia State University, or the LSE. His main areas of research are Labor Economics and Household Economics, with special emphasis on time use and intrahousehold issues. He has published his research in international journals, such as Journal of Transport Geography, Journal of Regional Science, or Journal of Family and Economic Issues.
