Resum
Introduction: Nursing care based on scientific evidence and supported by protocols is essential in the practice of nursing care. Since school nursing is not standardized throughout the Spanish state, the application of protocols enables this discipline to provide an standarized attention while aiming for the highest quality and healthcare security standars. Objective: Development of three school nurs-ing protocols for respiratory emergencies. Methods: The document is presented on a Din A4 paper: a theoretical approach to the subject and a nursing care plan using standardized language are presented on side A and on side B the operational document is shown using visual algorithms. Results: The first protocol performs a systematic assessment of health. The other two show the protocols for allergic reaction / anaphylaxis and for asthmatic crisis. Conclusions: The developed protocols standardize and guide the nursing interventions effectively and in a simply way. In addition, they provide a scientific tool to be adopted by the nurse’s offices of school centers.
