Abstract

The aim of this study is to discuss the student’s opinion with regard to the use of immediate response systems in the development of the class sessions, through their own wireless devices (Bring Your Own Device, model BYOD). The data source used is specifically designed on the basis of a questionnaire that was provided to three groups of students in different degrees and public universities. After checking the suitability of the technological context for the study at both levels of institutions and participants, we generate a set of problems and exercises to be resolved during the session. The results of this study suggest that these tools allow the transmission of information to participant ́ devices. It also facilitates the graphic and instantaneous information of the process, enabling the feedback. Students consider that these tools facilitate the participation in the class sessions and they enhance the acquisition of skills included in their degrees.
