The purpose of the present research is to analyze whether the most commonly used structural types in Catalunya nowadays are suitable to resist moderate seism, or else, which types would be the most appropriate. Another aim is to fi nd out if the current calculation procedures used by Structural Consultants are correct, basically, because it’s not usual to consider the interaction between the structure and masonry walls
