Zusammenfassung

The environmental uncertainty modern societies face demands agricultural practices with lower ecological impact. Vineyard management, still focused on traditional practices such as tillage and intense application of agrochemicals, is thus fronting a change of model that guarantees sustainability. In this study, we evaluated the effect of alternative management practices on the native community of entomopathogenic nematodes, biological control agents of arthropod pests, in soils of 80 D.O.Ca. Rioja vineyards. The results obtained through classical methodologies, and supported by molecular tools, showed the positive effect of ecological vineyard management on these beneficial organisms. On the other hand, the absence of significant differences between tillage practices and cover cropping highlights the need to select typologies that best adapt to the characteristics that define a specific agroecosystem.
