Traditionally, Bachelor's Final Projects (Trabajos de Fin de Grado; henceforth TFGs) in the field ofHumanities in Spanish have traditionally been theoretical in nature, either by providing a critical reviewof the existent literature around a given topic and/or by analyzing a specific phenomenon from a specifictheoretical framework. This bias present in TFGs instructions and assessment favours TFGs with aclear theoretical profile in detriment of dissertations aimed at the design of products (for example, digitalpedagogical content). However, in order to respond to the needs of digitization in the field of Humanitiesdemanded by society, it is crucial to draw attention to applied TFGs to broaden student’s ways to enterthe labour market once they graduate.This paper seeks to review and improve the TFG evaluation rubrics to assess more effectively TFGswith a more applied profile in the area of English Studies and Education. We will investigate the ways inwhich the criteria and rubrics used to assess TFGs in Humanities are optimal to assess the quality andoriginal contribution of final projects aimed at generating digital products (more specifically, pedagogicalcontent to be released in digital platforms). The new set of assessment criteria will raise students’awareness of the needs of the business world and will help them become familiar with concepts suchas dissemination, marketing and the social impact of their work.
