The challenges of the new education of the 21st century require schools which adapt teaching processes to attend to the diversity of their students. It is important to focus on learning strategies and the changes that occur during the process, instead of pursuing a mere accumulation of knowledge. This need become even more relevant when we speak about gifted students (AACCII), due to the high levels of creativity, learning speed and level of challenge, which characterize their development processes. However, most schools show difficulties to attend to individual differences efficiently, and more specifically, to the needs of students with AACCII. This circumstance is worrying if we take into account that the development of their talents and abilities depends, in large part, on the educational environment. The attention to diversity in the inclusive school means recognizing the differences between people, it supposes a school for all, not exclusive, that has the capacity to motivate, to adapt to the needs of its students and to develop their abilities and talents. In this line, this research aims to provide a theoretical basis that justifies the need to design intervention programs focus on the needs of gifted students, as well as implementing creativity, academic involvement and motivation of students with AACCII. To get his goal, the intervention proposal was carried out in two stages. A first phase in which a pilot program was applied to 59 students from an educational school in the city of Lima (Peru) and, later, a second phase in which the final study was carried out with 40 AACCII students from educational schools of Granada and Jaén. Both studies were carried out with a quasi-experimental design. The results of both studies have been positive since they showed improvements in the motivation, academic involvement and creativity of the students after their participation in the program. However, the research has had limitations that must be taken into account to assess the conclusions.
