Abstract

The work carried out during the 2017 season in the northern sepulchral area of the city of Arucci has allowed usto know how the necropolis was internally articulated, which tomb typologies were the most used, and whatkind of customs the local population liked.Their knowledge is of vital importance to be able to know the economic level of the population buried here, originand adherence to the Empire. The documentation extracted from the study of the artefacts and the readings from the archaeological record tounderstand these two sites’ occupations allow rewriting the chapter of this prior stage to the Iron Age.
