Resumo

The human management processes have allowed to improve the working conditions of the collaborators, being the salary compensation process a key factor when motivating employees. For this reason, the project is part of the salary study in the city of Villavicencio, Meta, carried out by the GYDO group of the Universidad de los Llanos, where compensation programs were analyzed in the PyMES hotels of Villavicencio, as well as identifying the conditions of personnel hiring, analyze the salary characteristics and determine how are the incentive systems and salary increases. It was carried out through a descriptive study with a quantitative approach and with the support of the questionnaires MP05a and MP05b. The results showed the importance that the hotels give to the salary compensations, where the type of the incentives and the social benefits turn out to be fundamental at the moment of motivating the collaborators, in addition it was possible to know the most important characteristics that the different charges that are in the hotels. Therefore, PyMES hotels in the city of Villavicencio require improvements in this process, mainly in the implementation of new salary trends, such as the application of emotional salary, this being a term little known by the sector.
