Abstract

Many universities have included the goals associated with the UN 2030 Agenda in their strategic thinking. Some of them have explicitly stated their desire to promote and encourage the inclusion of specific aspects of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in their curricula. In the case of the Degree in Computer Science, where the vast majority of the subjects are oriented to the development of technical and transversal competences included in their respective curricula, it is not easy to find space to add new objectives or contents. For this reason, a teaching experience has been conceived, designed and deployed in the Project Management subject that brings students of the Degree in Computer Science at the Universities of the Basque Country and La Rioja closer to the SDGs. This work presents the development of a subject in which students have a contact with the SDGs while they manage and develop a sequence of projects in which they will build a website aimed at raising awareness among their peers. The experience has a multi-year perspective, so that students of successive academic years build on the work carried out by their predecessors in previous courses.
