Abstract

Different international studies on internships identify a very positive influence on the academic results of the subsequent courses. The collaboration in the elaboration of the degree curriculum with the most important association of computer companies in our territory, gave rise to a compulsory course and an optional one to carry out internships. In addition to the above, students have the possibility to continue in the company by performing a capstone project. Therefore, a student can remain part time a full aca- demic year in the company. In this work we analyze the pros and cons of internships through a biblio- graphic study and the analysis of their influence on subsequent capstone projects.
