Abstract

The objective of this work is to analyze the mutual influence of export barriers in the case of anemerging country such as Brazil. Five types of barriers are controlled (capital, culture, product,administrative and financial). The empirical framework is carried out in a statisticallysignificant sample of exporting companies in Brazil. The proposed model is analyzed throughstructural equations with Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results show that, as has beenproposed in the hypotheses, there is a significant impact between the different export barriers.Proposals are made to reduce the impact of export barriers.
