Resum

On the occasion of the bicentennial of the beginning the Liberal Triennium we analiyzed, from the local perspective, this crucial contemporary historical period where the Political Constitution fo the Spanish Monarchy of 1812 was put into practice again dring the reign of Fernando VII. Well unlike waht happened during the Napoleonic invasion (1808-1814), at this stage the new liberal regime that emerged in the Courts of Cadiz had a greater practical development and scope. This makes it possible to understand, in all its extension, the first Spanish liberalism and its concrete incidence in Calahorra. The Revolution of 1820 gave rise to and reactivated different political tendencies in favor or agaist the constitutional goverment, which is why local historical agents were forced to position themselves on the sociopolitical axis of the liberal revolution-absolutist reaction.
