Abstract

Due to the characteristics of tourism services and the peculiarities of online shopping generating consumer satisfaction is more complicated than in a traditional environment. This study presents a model that reflects the influence of website's characteristics on consumer satisfaction. To achieve this, primary information is collected from a sample of 310 people. The results show that website's characteristics, according to their degree of influence, perceived quality, website design, privacy and security policies and guarantee policies are key elements to trigger satisfaction. These results have important theoretical and practical implications
