Resumo

The objective of this study was to evaluate the surface and groundwater quality of the vineyard region D.O. Jumilla, analysing the pesticide residues levels some of their degradation products. Sixty–nine pesticides were selected in twenty–one points of sampling using an analytical method multiresidue, based on the extraction of solid phase (SPE) and the analysis for liquid chromatography and connected to mass spectrometry (LC–MS) so that reliable results could be obtained. Of the studied compounds, only twenty–eight were detected in the analyzed samples and fifteen of them in concentrations higher than 0,1 μg L–1 (limit established by the EU for pesticide residues detected in waters for human consumption). In all samples investigated, there were detected concentrations of pesticide residues and their degradation products.
