Zusammenfassung

When we study the industrialization of a space we usually deal with the economic aspects, because they are a manifestation of the industrial revolution and economic modernity. Deepening more in the local history and the microhistory of the industrialists of Calahorra, a privileged city by its canning industry that between the 19th and 20th centuries was one of the Spanish point with the highest qualitative and quantitative presence of this type of factories and the headquarters of the Asociación Nacional de Conserveros, we see that the proliferation of this type of companies mutated more aspects than the purely economistic in medium and long term.
