Zusammenfassung
The aim of this article is to analyze some (among many) ephemeral words found in Alfonso de Algeciras’ translation (BN 10287; 1427) of the Franciscan Nicholas of Lira’s (1270-1349) Postilla super psalterium, contained in his transcendental Postilla litteralis super totam Bibliam (Paris, 1322-1331). This translation is a masterpiece in the fifteenth century Hispanic culture, although it is still not entirely edited. After a brief presentation of the text, a selection of some ephemeral words of different interest therein found will be presented. They consist of: a) hapax legomena, that is, words of which only a single written testimony is preserved; b) words used (and witnessed) only during a period of time.
