The Social Work is a profession which is changing permanently and it is always adapting itself to a targeted surrounding social reality. Society is transforming social standards , which make new situations emerge, so new ways of acting are needed. Considering this, new stages are open to this profession to be developed and boosted. One of them is inequality gender situations. Wage gap, Glass roofs, feminization or masculinisation of some professions, romantic love ideal, women objectification and sexualisation, the maternity and paternity or gender violence are examples of realities which need a greater amount of work. All of them have got the same origin: gender inequality. For this, there is a double way of acting: 1. Preventive acting 2. Restorative acting. The first aims to try to prevent unwanted situations. The second one aims to try to give a solution for a problematic situation via a social intervention from a Social Work point of view. It is in our preventive side, from asocioeducative interventional point of view, in which we must reinforce our professional position as transformers of structures which developed inequality situations. Understanding inequality between genders is an example of the social stratification system which does not let people develop freely to advance to the top of their capacities. All in all, the current paper is going to analyze keys about different typologies of prevention to relate them to inequality gender.
