In this PhD thesis title "ELECTRICITY GENERATION FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES (GE3R) NETWORK IN DRINKING WATER SUPPLY OF URBAN SPACE" presents the research carried out during the PhD and results. These studies focus its application in the generation of electricity from renewable sources (GE3R) in the urban environment. It aims to achieve a hydroelectric plant in the distribution networks of drinking water in urban areas. Traditionally known to hydropower as one that uses the energy potential in a jump or gap between two bodies of water to mechanical energy being converted later this electricity through an electric generator. Considering that renewable energy, as the hydrological cycle comes from the sun natural energy source and virtually inexhaustible. The main goal of this PhD thesis is to draw conclusions from the analysis of the implementation of this type of use, which are novel in the state of art and technology, showing that the distribution of water can be a potential hydroelectric slope to develop, that the electricity generated is considered renewable and that although the state of the art there is no such device for use in the present research has developed a novel device for carrying out this function (DRPR). Finally, we determined whether there is availability of online resources Potable Water Distribution to conduct a Micro-hydraulic use, without thereby altering the conditions of water quality to consumers.
