Résumé
The main objective of this work has been the exposition and development of a methodology for modeling and optimize for those products and industrial processes that have a nonlinear behavior difficult formable. This methodology is based on the combined use of the finite element method (FEM) and data mining techniques (DM) and allows models much simpler, easier to interpret and more computationally efficient than those obtained only by the finite element method (FEM). This combination of techniques has been called FEM]DM. The thesis has been applied to the design and optimization of four products and / or specific nonlinear industrial processes. The first one is based on obtaining and modeling the contact pressures that occur in an industrial vehicle axle that mounts a preloaded tapered bearing. The remaining cases are based on industrial processes of Skin]pass and Tension]Levelling process, which are the part of the Hyprocom European Project (RFSR]CT]2007]00016).
