Resumen

From the ideas of improving the speed of convergence and reducing the computational cost of one-point iterations, a new uniparametric family of multipoint iterations is constructed in Banach spaces to solve nonlinear equations. The semilocal convergence and the R-order of convergence of the new iterations are analyzed and numerical tests are also given. © 2008 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
