Abstract
Dimeric pentafluoro-N-methylbenzimidoyl-bridged palladium(II) derivatives react with isonitriles to give monomeric, terminal imidoyl complexes, whereas PPh3 causes elimination of methyl isonitrile from the imidoyl group; reaction of [&{;Pd2(μ-Cl)2 &{;μ-C(C6F5)=NMe&};2&};n] with N-chelate ligands afford zwitterionic dimeric complexes, [(NN) P +d&{;μ-C(C6F5)=NMe&};2 P -dCl2] (confirmed by X-ray crystallography). © 1983.
