Zusammenfassung

The application of 2-phenyl-4-benzylidene-5(4H)-oxazolone (1) as a dienophile in the synthesis of 2-amino-2-bicycloalkanecarboxylic acids is described. The influence of different Lewis acids and the reaction conditions are discussed.
