Resumen

Excess enthalpies and vapour pressures of {x(CH3)2C(OH)CH2COCH3 + (1 - x)CH3(CH2)4CH3} at the temperatures 288.15 K, 293.15 K, 298.15 K, 308.15 K, and 318.15 K were measured. Reduction of the vapour pressures to obtain activity coefficients and excess molar Gibbs energies was carried out by Barker's method. The mixture shows limited miscibility, and a coexistence curve was drawn near the U.C.S.T. TSE m shows a complicated behaviour over the whole temperature range. © 1992 Academic Press Limited All rights reserved.
