Resumen
By means of geomorphological transects, the evolution undergone by cultivated land after abandonment has been studied. During the first years, diffuse overland flow processes predominate, while older fields seem more highly deteriorated (incisions, stone flows, stone pavement). The results confirm the important protection role of vegetable covering - particularly scrub - and the negative influence of soil uses. Grazing leads to periodic scrub burnings, increasing surface stoniness and concentrated overland flow. © 1992.
