New unsaturated-dithiolate-bridged rhodium complexes

Resumen
The preparation of the homobinuclear complexes [Rh, (H-S~5)COD)2]$~§=1,1dicyanoethene-2,2-dithiolate (1,1MNT) 1 or 1,2-dicyanoethene-1.2- dithiolate (1,2-MNT) 2, [RMn-S S) (CO)J <n>=l,l-MNT3, 1,2~-MNT4 are reported. Compounds 3 and 4 react with stoichiometric quantities of PPhs and dppm (bis(diphenylphosphino) methane) leading to [Rh2(|J-$~3) (CO)2(PPh3)2] iSjU 1,1-MNT5, 1,2MNT 6, [Rh(|i-S S)(|i-dppm)(CO)2] S S=l.l|IMNT7,l,2-MNT8,and_n " [Rh,(jx-S S)((i-dppm)2 (c°)2] s s= 1,1-MNT 9, 1,2-MNT 10. Reaction of [NBu4][Rh(§~S)(COD)] and [Ir(COD)(acetone)2][BF4] lead to the heterobimetallic complexes [(COD)Rh(ji-S S)Ir(COD)]S S= 1,1MNT 11, 1,2-MNT 12. Addition of mercury(II)chloride to complex 6 gave the binuclear rhodium(II) compound [Rh2(|i-l,2-MNT)Cl2(CO)2(PPh,)2] 13. Complex 6 undergoes addition of molecular iodine yielding [Rh2(|a-1.2MNT)I2(CO)2(PPh,)2] 14. © Springer-Verlag Ibériea 1996.
