Resumen
Ubiquitous computation refers to the creation of environments with high processing and communication capacities in which the computers practically go unnoticed by the users. A context in which this vision of the future opens different lines of research is the field of health. The goal of this paper is to present a proposal for ubiquitous computation in a hospital context for the application of medical protocols that help with the taking of decisions. As a case study we use a protocol of action for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the infections caused by central catheters.
