Resumen

The voltage-current V-I static characteristic of a isolated full bridge DC-DC converter used as an electronic drive for a welding machine is described. The converter is peak-current controlled The output current is indirectly measured through the primary. Some circuit limits as voltage drops in resistances and electronic devices modifies the ideal V-I behavior. In this work the nonlinearities are discussed and some solutions to improve the shape are given. Simulated and experimental test confirm the improvements applied. ©2006 IEEE.
