Resumen

Using a sample of 83 university students in the last year of the degree in business administrationand management, a time-lagged design with two data collection points was used to test whetherpsychological capital could help explain their "employability skills". The structural equationmodel analysed revealed a direct and positive effect of psychological capital on the 10employability skills considered in the model. Our findings suggest that the University should beconcerned about the psychological capital of its students (defined in terms of resilience, self-efficacy, optimism and hope) and implement specific programs that train them in the search forcreative responses to adapt to change. In assertive communication and how to face differenttypes of situations with optimism and hope.
