Abstract

Founded in 1990 with the aim of revitalizing and supporting business and entrepreneurial activity in La Rioja, Ricari is the first society that, until practically nowadays, has leaded the venture capital activity in La Rioja. It was not until 2011 that another leader company performing in the venture capitalist sector emerged. That company is Renertia Investment Company SGEI, founded with the purpose of offering investors the greatest legal and transparency security. Its main activity consists of promoting all kind of renewable energies. It also exists another entity, ADER (Agencia de Desarrollo Económico de La Rioja), whose actívity started back in 1988 and supports new entrepreneurial projects. Its main objective is the promotíon of the business development in La Rioja as well as the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in order to increment the creation of employment. Lestiy; La Rioja also has a supporting tool regarded as Sociedad de Garantía Recíproca Iberaval. Iberaval is founded in Valladolid duríng the first years of the Spanish Democraey and arrives in La Ríoja in 2010 with the aim of playing as a support and mediator for those citizens living in bordering areas between Castilla y León and La Rioja
